At the end of March, Lotus participated in a major startup pitch competition at the AgeTech Challenge Innovation Showcase in Atlanta. It was held in partnership with the American Society on Aging's annual conference, OnAging 2023 and judged by a panel of investors in the Age Tech space. And we are thrilled to share that, among 12 impressive finalists, Lotus was selected as the winner! Here are some takeaways from Founder and CEO, Dhaval Patel:
Winning Age Tech Atlanta’s pitch competition and attending the 2023 American Society on Aging conference was such an eye-opener. Never before have I come across an industry, a conference or “a people” who are so tied by relationships and a mission to serve. It was like one big family. And being recognized and celebrated by your own family - well there’s no feeling that beats that.
Proud of Lotus’ first ever pitch competition - and winning it down the road from my own Alma mater - Georgia Institute of Technology. We’ve finally come full circle.
This is an exciting milestone for our team, and we look forward to entering more competitions and connecting with other folks and companies that are just as passionate about this work as we are.
